I am taking this class in an effort to 'beef' up my educational technology skills. I have recently added School ET to my list of certificate endorsements and I would eventually like to move into a half-time or full-time ET position with my school. Although I am comfortable with a variety of multimedia tools I enjoy learning new things and better understanding the research that should guide my technology-integration choices.
I already hold a Master's Degree in Secondary Education. I would like to get a fair number of EDTECH courses under my belt and then apply to a PhD program in Educational Psychology Educational Technology. My goal is to work at the administrative level helping to guide my organization's professional development and educator training requirements.
